Vhadzanani Kitchen is a community-rooted food business founded by Ronewa Mudzanani — built around good food, independence, determination and service.

01 · Where it started
Vhadzanani Kitchen began with a simple but powerful belief: circumstance should never determine a person's ability to work, create, lead or succeed.
Founded by Ronewa Mudzanani, the kitchen has grown as a local food business serving the Senaoane community with affordable, satisfying meals and a distinctly local menu.
From kotas and dagwoods to pap, mogodu and traditional favourites, the food reflects the customers and community Vhadzanani Kitchen serves every day.

02 · More than a kitchen
Vhadzanani Kitchen represents more than a place to buy a meal. It represents independence, determination and the possibility of building something meaningful within your own community.
Every customer who walks through the door supports an entrepreneur, a local business and a wider message that disability does not remove a person's ability to contribute, create opportunity or lead.
Before the kitchen
Long before Vhadzanani Kitchen, determination was already part of Ronewa's story. Wheelchair tennis took him from South Africa to international competition and helped shape the mindset he carries into entrepreneurship today.
Ronewa began competing professionally in wheelchair tennis.
His journey on court took him to a world ranking of number 26.
Represented South Africa as the team secured World Team Cup bronze.
In Ronewa's words
“Disability is not the end of the road.It is another reason to keep pushing forward.”

03 · Made in Soweto
The story of Vhadzanani Kitchen is visible in the people around it: customers, families, neighbours and everyday moments shared over food.
